Text recognition and content search

You can now extract text from scanned files and uploaded images.

To extract text from a file:

Access any file
Click on Extract Text
Once text is extracted, our system will send you an in-app notification

To search for files once text has been extracted:

Search for the file you're looking for using general search and typing in words that may be in the file.
Text that matches a file will be highlighted in yellow when you search
Once you access the file, you can search for certain keywords by using an in-file search.

From the start you have a limit of 10 files which you can extract text from. However, you can easily speak to one of our customer success representatives to increase your limit by emailing support@ecratum.com.
